But over the years, I began noticing something else.
Parents weren’t fully present.
They were rocking babies during speeches. Stepping outside during key moments. Leaving early because bedtime couldn’t wait. Missing parts of once-in-a-lifetime celebrations because they were doing what they do best taking care of everyone else.
And in today’s world, many parents don’t have a village to lean on anymore.
Both partners are working hard every day. Families are stretched thin. Extra support isn’t always readily available especially during big events.
That’s where the heart behind the BEST mobile childcare service in Florida began.
Where It All Started
My love for children grew long before The Event Nanny was created.
I spent over six years working as a teacher, nurturing young minds, building structure in busy classrooms, and creating safe, engaging environments for children of all ages. Teaching didn’t just strengthen my passion it sharpened my understanding of child development, behavior management, organization, and safety standards.
In the classroom, I saw firsthand how much parents carry.
I saw how hard they work.How much they sacrifice.How rarely they get a true break.
And I kept thinking:
What if there was a way to support both children and parents during life’s biggest celebrations?
What if events could feel joyful instead of stressful for families?
By combining my teaching experience with my administrative skills planning, organizing, coordinating, and leading The Event Nanny was born.
Built on Experience, Not Guesswork
From the very beginning, I knew this couldn’t be casual childcare.
It had to be structured.Professional.Safe.Intentional.
We started with a team of certified Early Childhood educators who understand child development and age-appropriate engagement. For larger events, we also include professional security guards to ensure an added layer of safety and supervision.
Because weddings and large-scale events require more than just supervision they require coordination.
Our team is equipped to care for a large number of children while maintaining organization, structure, and safety at all times.

As a Florida-based company, we proudly follow state standards through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).
As our team continues to grow, every new nanny receives DCF training to ensure we maintain the highest level of compliance, safety awareness, and professional childcare standards.
